We are located at the Port Orange Causeway Park located under the Port Orange Causeway, 93 DUNLAWTON AVE PORT ORANGE, FL 32127

While we supply all of the fishing gear needed, we do not supply food or drinks. We have a limited supply of bottled water. You are welcome to bring your own food and drink on board. We also suggest bringing a hat, sunglasses, and sunblock with high SPF. In the spring, fall, and winter a light jacket is always a safe bet

Feel free to bring alcoholic beverages. Please try to bring all drinks in plastic or aluminum cans ~ not bottles. Try not to bring any glass bottles if possible. Please note: Drinking is allowed, drunkenness is not.

We have top of the line rods and reels for every type of fishing we offer. This being said you are still more than welcome to bring and use your own.

Depending on targeted species live bait could be needed. We furnish all the frozen and cut bait you can use. We also furnish all the live bait when available or needed.

Arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time.

30′ Stamas Tarpon

22′ Epic Center Console Boat

The crew on the boats is happy to clean your catch at the end of the trip. **Tips appreciated**

We have a small enclosed port-a-potty for emergencies only.

The length of the trip dictates how far offshore we will fish.  It could be as close as 1 mile out or as far as 60 miles out. Ask the captain for more details when booking your trip.

Yes, we usually have an experienced deckhand to help make the trip as enjoyable and successful as possible, however with smaller group sizes its not a necessity and the Captain handles that responsibly. Remember the crew works for tips … 20% is customary.

We recommend booking your trip as far in advance as possible, to secure your preferred boat and the date of your trip. June, July, and August are our busiest months and we typically stay booked 2 weeks in advance. However, you can always check with us for last minutes openings due to cancellations. During the spring, fall, and winter months it’s a little easier to reserve your trip once you arrive in town. We still recommend booking before you arrive to secure your preferred date.

If we have to cancel your trip due to bad weather or mechanical failure there is no charge at all to you.  We will do our best to reschedule your trip with us on a different day if it fits your schedule and ours. If we are already booked we will do our best to send you out with another charter that we recommend.

Our youngest passenger was 11 days old. This being said we have no age limit. Kids under 6 ride for free.

Due to licensing regulations, we can accommodate up to 6 passengers in total on Stamas and up to 4 passengers on Epic. This number DOES include ALL children.

No, please leave coolers for your fish in your vehicles. We have a large ice chest on board to put your catch in. Just bring enough coolers for your food and drinks.

The best way is use the links on our site, BOOK NOW. If you have any additional questions about booking please email (info@captaindaddysfishing.com) or call (386-846-1675) and we will be glad to answer your questions.

If a trip must be canceled due to weather or mechanical failure, the trip deposit will be refunded in full. Weather cancellations are at the Captain’s discretion. Trips can be canceled outside of 72 hours with no charge. Trips canceled inside 72 hours of departure will forfeit the deposit. **No call or no shows will be charged full price of the trip**

So, truly, you are best off never canceling your fishing charter. While the financial cost of canceling a fishing charter is less than fun. Missing out on landing that beautiful record deep sea fishing catch, well, that is something else entirely.
